Forklift and Transport veterans lifts cancer awareness through challenge
John Flinn of Hystandard, together with Andrew brown of Toll Intermodal, plan to motorbike around Australia in May this year, a distance of over 15 000km, in a bid to raise money for cancer awareness.
John and Andrew will cover all the expenses of the trip and in addition, the Hystandard will open the donations with $5000 to the Cancer Council of Australia.
We would like to issue a challenge to all companies in Australia to get together and meet our donation and help raise money for this very worthy cause,” says Flinn.
He adds that many field technicians and sales people in industry are at risk from skin cancer from too much exposure to the sun.
His epic trip kicks off in Perth on 5 May and should end in back in Freemantle around the 5 June.
