Day 6 Whyalla to Adelaide 393kms

After yesterdays tough day in the heat and wind it was nice to head off from Whyalla this morning, clear sky's and fantastic scenery. The ride up from Whyalla you have the Flinders Ranges in front of you as you head towards Port Augusta. We turned right and headed down to Adelaide ... Coming into Adelaide we hit traffic for the first time since we left Fremantle ( and there was much there in Freo) ...we battled down south rd into Melrose Park where we are staying tonight... We arrived at lunch time so we headed off down to the local shops for lunch , coffee (fantastic) and Tea ( see pic of John with tea)... Heading off to the Wheatsheaf tonight for a few beers and to catch up with friends. Thanks to James an Em for putting us up for the night.
