Day 7 Adelaide to Warnambool 628kms

After a great night at the Wheatsheaf with pizza, beer and friends, special thanks to Paul for his $20 donation. We got up at 6:30 this morning ready for a big day... Thanks to Emily for cooking breakfast and James for making the tea and coffee. We headed off around 8 and made our way out of Adelaide towards the Coorong , Mt Gambier and along the coast to Warnambool . The highlights for the ride was the Coorong and seeming two large wind farms... A much better day for riding with the wind behind us for most of the way... We left last Saturday have travelled over 4000km and not seen one drop of rain... The weather has been amazing for this time of year.

Check out the pic for the giant crayfish.....

Arrived in Warnambool and checked into a very nice motel near the beach ( thanks to David for arranging) A photo shoot was organised at 5.00pm with the local newspaper which John and I where more that happy to participate with. ... Especially John (enough said) Any publicity is welcome.

John and I are attending a dinner tonight to raise funds for the Cancer Council.

Will report back tomorrow on the dinner with pics.

Here is a selection from today.. The last 2 I took from my balcony... Off to iron my shirt.

Sorry not all pic in order...
